Needing a professional light design for your band, conference, media recording, or theatre production? Then, you have found the right person. I have a combination of 15 years experience in theatrical lighting and entertainment lighting. In the fall of 1990, I started working for the Sight and Sound Millennium Theatre, Strasburg, Pennsylvania, as a followshop operator. Throughout my 10 years at the theatre, I became the assistant to the lighting designer by taking over designing the followspot lighting cues, as well as assisting with the main lighting design. During the run of each show, I ran the lighting boards -- ETC Obsession and WholeHog II -- as well as maintaining the look of the followspots.

Upon leaving the theatre, I became involved in the entertainment side by working with bands. I have experience with a wide range of bands from Rap to an MTV band -- SOCOM, Nation of One, The Longing, Kids in the Way, The Sonflowerz, etc. Each band is provided with a design for their particular set, as well as board operation for the gig.

Recently, I provided the lighting design and my services of board operation for a DVD recording. The set consisted of a variety of 10 segments of songs, from different countries, for a future Branson, Missouri production.

These are a few examples of things I have done. If you are interested in learning more please contact me at info@myerlighting.com.
