Design and/or lighting support for the recording -- including preparation time of our own, as well as meeting with the photographer/videographer before the shoot date so everything runs smooth during the allotted time frame.

Media Recording Challenges

The biggest challenge is the preparation time leading up to the actual shoot because one is never quite sure what is exactly needed for the shoot. Another challenge is getting the same look during every run through. However, this can also be a good thing because it gives you an opportunity to perfect the look. In order to minimize the challenges, we meet with the photographer/videographer before the shoot date to discuss what each other needs for the actual shoot. This gives us a base for our lighting design.

Our Lighting Design Technique

We go into the shoot with a basic design and build off of that to develop the best recording. We have found that this is the best way to go about it because then everyone is working together and not against each other. Fog and automated lights become an essential element to add dimension and beams that make for a great look on the recording.
